Most dogs pull hardest in the first few minutes of a walk - the gate opens, the street is full of news, and everything they have goes forward. On a collar, all of that lands at the throat. This harness moves it to the chest, where a broad padded band spreads the load across the sternum and shoulders and leaves the neck free to breathe, sniff and turn.

Reflective stitching runs along the edge of every strap, catching headlights and torchlight on early mornings and after dark. Heavy nylon webbing sits over a soft padded lining, with a sturdy ring on top for the lead and a smaller one at the chest for an ID tag.

It slips on over the head and closes with a single quick-release buckle at the side, with a slider to settle the fit close without pinching - ready in a moment, whenever the lead comes down from its hook.

Sizing (chest girth):

46–58cm (S), 8–10kg

56–70cm (M), 10–18kg

64–80cm (L), 18–30kg

78–100cm (XL), 30–45kg

More Details

Slips on over the head and fastens with one quick-release buckle at the side, with a slider to set the girth. The lead clips to the sturdy ring on top of the back, while the smaller ring at the chest holds an ID tag or waste-bag pouch. The reflective stitching lights up under headlights, streetlights or a torch.

Materials

Heavy-duty nylon webbing over a soft padded lining, with breathable mesh along the girth strap and reflective stitching on every edge. Metal rings at the top and chest, with a quick-release buckle and a slider for adjusting the fit.

Shipping

Processed within 1–2 business days, then delivered in 7–8 business days. Free shipping on orders over $70 AUD; orders under $70 ship for a flat $10.

Room to breathe

A harness that takes the pull at the chest, leaving the throat free.

A collar sends every lunge and every sudden stop straight to the throat. This harness gives that force somewhere better to go - a broad, padded band across the chest that spreads it over the sternum and shoulders, so even a dog who leans hard into the lead isn't pressing on their windpipe. Reflective stitching along every strap keeps them seen when the walk starts early or runs late, and a single buckle means it's on in a moment. What's left is a walk that feels easier at both ends of the lead.

No more coughing

Our beagle used to hack and wheeze on his collar every walk because he pulls like a train. He still pulls a bit, but the pressure sits on his chest now and the coughing has stopped. To be honest it hasn't stopped my lab pulling, that's a training thing. But it's way more comfortable for him than the collar and I'm not worried about his throat anymore. Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right size?
Measure around the widest part of your dog's ribcage, just behind the front legs. S suits 46–58cm, M 56–70cm, L 64–80cm and XL 78–100cm - if your dog sits where two sizes overlap, choose the larger and adjust it in.
How does it keep pressure off the throat?
The lead clips to the ring on top of the back, so when your dog leans forward the load is taken by the broad padded band across the chest and shoulders rather than the neck.
Is it visible at night?
Yes - reflective stitching runs along the edges of every strap, catching headlights, streetlights and torchlight on early-morning and after-dark walks.
How do I put it on?
Slip the neck loop over your dog's head, bring the girth strap under the chest and click the buckle closed at the side. Set the slider so two fingers fit comfortably beneath the straps.
How do I clean it?
A gentle hand wash in cool water with mild soap, then air drying, keeps the padding and reflective stitching at their best.
