Through an Australian summer, cats and dogs leave their beds for the coolest patch of floor they can find - the bathroom tiles, the shade by the back door. This mat brings that same relief to wherever they would rather settle.

The face is woven from ice silk, a fine fibre that feels cool to the touch, pressed into a dimpled texture that lets air move beneath your pet rather than holding the heat in. A bound edge keeps it neat and flat through everyday use.

It needs no water, gel or power, and it is light enough to roll up for the car, the crate or an afternoon on the grass. When it needs a wash, it goes straight into the machine.

The S at 50 x 70cm suits cats and small dogs, the M at 70 x 90cm small to medium breeds, the L at 80 x 120cm medium to large dogs, and the XL at 100 x 150cm large breeds. If your pet sprawls out flat in the heat, size up so they can lie fully on the mat.
