Where the mess stops.
The last stop between the tray and the floor.
Litter has a way of travelling further than expected - caught in fur, flicked from paws, tracked in odd trails across the floor long after the tray's been cleaned. This sits underneath first, its two honeycomb layers catching what would otherwise spread, so the mess ends here instead of migrating room to room. A waterproof base and a non-slip underside mean a stray puddle or a heavier accident wipes up just as easily, without the mat sliding underfoot. It stays flat and unassuming, doing its quiet work between one scoop and the next.
